Mopodna - What it Was to Be Me (feat. Claire Givens)

Things I like about this track from New Orleans based producer and drummer MoPodna:
- the whirring, teetering synth that sounds like an angry electric fly.
- the bass line like a funky caffeinated contrabassoon.
- the layered, somewhat unsettling vocals of Claire Givens (of the band People Museum), which really do evoke Purity Ring. (Thanks to Stella Mazzaferro for the Purity Ring comparison and for making me aware of the track.)
